Hi, my name is Piper Marie. I’m an author, a daughter, a sister, and a friend—but above all, I am a born-again Christian.I may write stories, but my greatest purpose goes far beyond the page. Everything I do is rooted in my faith and my desire to point others to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Many of my stories contain the evil, suffering, and brokenness of the world we live in. I don’t write this for shock value or entertainment alone—I write it because it’s honest. The world is dark. Pain is real. Evil exists. Ignoring that doesn’t make it disappear. But darkness is not the end of the story.Jesus Christ stepped into that darkness. He bled and died on the cross for our sins, taking the punishment we deserved so that we could be saved from hell and have the free gift of eternal life. His sacrifice wasn’t something we earned or worked for—it was an act of pure grace and love.Salvation is not found in being “good enough,” doing enough good works, or trying to fix ourselves. It is found in faith, and faith alone.Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast. If you want to be saved, go to Jesus. Repent of your sins. Turn away from the life you’ve been living and place your faith in Him. Accept Him as your Savior and trust in what He has already done for you on the cross. The world is dark.
And that’s exactly why it needs Jesus.
We all do.
I love you all.
Honestly, it all started with a random dream. All I remember is that there were two characters (Cerulean and Sativa) running from this monster.....and that's it folks, haha.
I have a VERY strong imagination, and that was all I needed as my base. I took inspiration from many many many shows and anime and somehow that, combined with my mind out barfed Sometimes They Hide.
I was listening to my mom while she was talking on the phone one day, and she said, "Sometimes they hide..."
Honestly, I can't remember what prompted her to say that, but as soon as I heard those combination of words, I knew that was the title of my book. Fun fact: the original title was Black and Blue.
